I thought I would update you with my crochet.  Back in August 2010 I bought some Rowan wool from Liberty in London : -

Well I haven't been doing very much crocheting recently so the squares are coming along very slowly. I have made these so far. Luckily I am only making a cushion cover, so I don't need to do many more to finish it.

The colours don't look great in these photo's as the light is so bad during the day. I should have taken them outside for a true colour.

I have also been working on some new cards. Just simple little cards with  pretty tiny floral background paper, or stamped dotty backgrounds, torn mulberry paper heart, pretty Indian ribbon on green mulberry paper, and hand painted watercolour beach huts, with a little bunting. I never tire of card making and always seem to be on a roll for ideas late at night (unfortunately !) this seems to be my most creative time.

  1. Hi Maureen,

Glad to see you back crocheting!! I love the colours of your squares. Now that you've started again you'll find your addicted!!

    Love the cards too.

  2. Hi Ali
Thanks, I'm glad I have got back to it too, I've had that wool for so long.
A friend of mine liked my cards and wants me to show her how to make some, so we are going to have a craft day which I'm looking forward to.

  3. Such lovely colours Maureen - both on the cards and the squares.

  4. Thanks Pam, I just have to crack on now and make some more. x

  5. That is going to make a lovely cushion cover and your cards are simple but so very pretty. Love the pebble painting too. Best wishes to you, Tammy

  6. Tammy thanks for your visit and comment to my blog. I stopped over at yours and it's so interesting especially all the places you have travelled, it makes mine look boring.
    Have a good week x
